Description:
Sarah's long and narrow sampler is from West TN, one of the few that can be located in that portion of the state. Two-thirds of West TN samplers are worked with wool fibers on large count ground fabric. Sarah's red and green palette is also found in Middle TN, where the Jones family had relatives.
